Your Wedding Day

We can provide music for any part of your wedding day. Please check out the options below:

a) Ceremony

This can be classical music on solo piano or music of a more popular vein on either solo piano or a bigger line-up of your choice. Here are some of the pieces that are frequently requested from the solo calssical repertoire:

The Entrance of the Bride

The Bridal Chorus - Wagner
Canon in D - Pachelbel
1st Arabesque - Debussy
1st Gymnopedie - Satie
Air on a G String - Bach
The Signing of the Register

Clair De Lune - Debussy
1st Arabesque - Debussy
Autumn Crocus - Mayerl
The Towing Path - Ireland
Valse Op. 70 No. 2 - Chopin
18th Variation on a Theme of Paganini - Rachmaninov
Three Preludes - Delius
Le Onde - Einaudi

The Recession

The Wedding March - Mendelssohn
Cadiz - Albeniz
Marigold - Mayerl

b) Drinks Reception

Music of a more lively nature is usually required for the drinks rception and can be provided by anything from a solo pianist to a full jazz band consisting of piano, bass, drums, sax and vocals.

c) Wedding Breakfast

Solo piano or piano and bass work really well for this part of the day. You can, however,  have any line up you wish. But please take into consideration that a bigger line-up will be louder than a smaller one. Usually sax throws out too much volume for this part of the day.

e) Evening Reception

This is the last part of the day and The Jazz Exchange can be a refreshing change to the routine disco or function band. We can provide music that people can dance to, and most importantly, hold a conversation. The Jazz Exchange believe that a wedding is a social gathering and that allowing people to converse is of paramount importance.

Also, we can provide a disco service so that your guests can have some of the more usual dance tracks at the end of the evening.

So there you have it! Every part of your day can be covered.
